As Chief Operating Officer, Brent is a key member of Crosland Southeast's executive leadership team, responsible for enterprise operational excellence, capital strategy, and execution across the firm's diversified real estate investment and development platform. In this role, he oversees the firm's day-to-day operations as well as all capital markets activities, including equity raising, debt placement, lender and investor relationships, and portfolio capitalization strategy.

Prior to joining Crosland Southeast in 2022, Brent was a Managing Director with JLL Capital Markets, where he was responsible for advising institutional commercial real estate clients on balance sheet strategy and entity-level financing solutions, as well as originating project-level capital for transactions across the U.S.

Before JLL, Brent spent almost 16 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Charlotte and San Francisco in a variety of commercial real estate corporate banking, lending, and syndicated finance capacities. Over the course of his career, Brent has arranged and closed on over $20 billion of capital.
