Latta Park Welcomes Two New Restaurants as Durham Development Takes Shape

Exciting things are happening at Latta Park, Crosland Southeast's mixed-use development in North Durham. Two local restaurant favorites, Compa Pizza & Pasta and Bull City Burger Outpost, are joining the growing lineup of retail, dining, and community amenities.
Compa Pizza & Pasta, a new concept from the owners of Durham's popular Pomodoro Italian Kitchen, will bring handmade pasta and pizza to Latta Park, with an anticipated opening in December 2026. Bull City Burger Outpost, an extension of Bull City Burger and Brewery, is expected to open in early 2027, featuring outdoor dining, a beer garden-style patio, and space for families to gather.
The restaurants will join Publix and Chipotle, both already open, as well as Ideal Dental, currently under construction.

Beyond the retail offerings, Latta Park is bringing new public spaces to the community. A 1.6-acre neighborhood park is nearing completion, featuring walking paths, a native pollinator garden, and public art installations by local artists. Among the highlights is Enoe, a 12-foot-tall stainless steel great blue heron inspired by the nearby Eno River.
Once complete, Latta Park will feature a 10-acre retail center and 176 townhomes, bringing together shopping, dining, residential living, and inviting outdoor spaces in one walkable destination.
The News & Observer recently highlighted the development's newest additions and continued progress.
