Andrew Laing

As Senior Vice President of Commercial, Andrew leads Crosland Southeast’s Commercial Development Management team with a focus on clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a strong commitment to integrity. Honest, direct, and relational by nature, he fosters an environment where teams and clients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout each project.
With over 25 years of experience, Andrew has supervised more than $1 billion in development and over 1,000 commercial projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast—including office spaces, data centers, life sciences, manufacturing, medical facilities, and retail environments. His approach emphasizes thorough due diligence, ongoing improvement, and strengthening relationships—both internal and external—to achieve exceptional results.
Andrew leads his team in embodying the firm’s core values of character, quality, people, and belief. He insists on honesty in all interactions and encourages his team to improve processes, support one another, and develop long-term partnerships with clients. He believes that clear communication and strong relationships lead to excellent project execution and community benefits.
Before joining Crosland Southeast, Andrew was Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s North and South Carolina practices. His career started in development in Atlanta, followed by several years in general contracting, before returning to project management and leadership roles.
Andrew is married to Lauren, and together they have four children.
